Slough Parent Carer Forum Partnership Agreement - October 2017

Parent Carer Participation, or “co-production” requires a partnership between local parents, carers and the bodies responsible for planning and delivering services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) where parents and carers are valued members of the strategic workforce and are involved in planning and development activities at the highest level contributing to shaping and overseeing the delivery of local services for children and young people with SEND.

This Parent Carer Partnership Agreement, available in the 'Downloads' section,  sets out how Special Voices, Slough Borough Council , Slough, Slough Children’s Services Trust (SCST) and East Berkshire CCG will work together to ensure that parents and carers of children and young people with SEND are properly represented and fully involved in strategic thinking and planning. By working together, we aim to ensure that local services meet the needs of local families, and that we are able to identify and respond to any unmet needs.
