Chalvey Grove Children’s Centre is a purpose built centre offering a wide range of services including full and part time early education for children under the age of 5.  The activities programme includes fun activities for families, informative workshops for parents, a wide range of health services, speech and language groups, information and advice sessions as well as adult education courses.  The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.  The library is open from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.

If you would like to visit us, you will find us on the left of the entrance to Montem Primary School in Chalvey Grove.  Parking is available via Telford Drive, with a pedestrian footpath leading to the Children’s Centre entrance.  Alternatively, contact us on or 01753 574387.  We look forward to seeing you soon. 

Eight of the Borough’s Children’s Centres are reopening from Tues 2 June for 3 & 4 year olds in receipt of a funded place of 15 or 30 hrs, following government guidance.

All of the eligible families have been contacted & many safeguarding measures are in place. 

Children’s Centres remain closed to the general public and services until further notice.

Early Years Education - Chalvey Grove Children’s Centre provides a range of Early Years provision to meet the needs of your family. 

Activities for the family - Our new range of Little Learners Activities are proving really popular with children, parents and carers alike.

Health and development - Chalvey Grove Children’s Centre provides support, advice and drop in sessions such as Speech and Language drop in sessions,  Health Visitor Baby Clinics, Breast Feeding support to maintain your child's health and development.

Chalvey Grove Children’s Centre is proud to serve families of many religions, cultures and ethnic backgrounds. 

Support and advice -Meeting the needs of your child and the other demands of family life can sometimes feel stressful and demanding.  At Chalvey Grove Children’s Centre we offer support to pregnant mums and parents of newborn babies through to when your child starts school. Pregnancy Test and Sexual Health kits are available.

Learning Together - We have a creative team of Family Services Practitioners who are experienced in helping  parents to interact with their children and to facilitate learning.  As well as delivering a programme of stimulating activities for you and your child to attend, they also provide courses such as Family support and learning sessions just for parents.

Home and finances - Our Family Services Officers offer advice and information about a range of issues including debt, relationship breakdown, mental and physical health, housing and employment, Home Safety checks. They can put you in touch with a range of other services, apply for grants if you are in a crisis and offer practical help and support.

At Chalvey Grove Children's Centre we know having a child under 5 is a wonderful experience, but it can be a time when you have more questions than answers.

Education and employment - We work in partnership with a range of organisations in order to provide a wide variety of courses to help you into employment or further training and education. 

Parenting and relationships - We offer family nurturing programmes to improve parenting skills and to strengthen family cohesion.
