Elevate Slough is part of Elevate Berkshire, an employment and skills programme funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The programme supports young people aged 16-24 in Berkshire into employment, education or training.
Employment - Elevate Berkshire is designed with young people in mind, putting our wealth of experience to good use helping our customers into work. We will be looking into apprenticeships, traineeships, internships and work experience. Our goal is to help them get onto the first rung of the ladder to a potential career, gaining that vital support and experience they need to develop their skills within the work environment.
Education - We will help customers who have not yet gained their basic skills by providing the option to improve literacy and numeracy skills with our partners. There will also be access to ESOL support with our partners for those who require it.
Training - We will be looking to help our customers by providing access to vocational training with our partners, enabling them to be better equipped to find a job in their chosen field.
