CONNECT : your parenting journey!
This is a programme for parents and carers that have children who are on the assessment pathway for social, communication and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
Over six sessions you will:
• Connect with self and others
• Connect with Child(ren)
• Rules that glue and connect your family
• Connecting in panic times – routines
• Connect before Correct – positive disciplining
• Connections for next steps – what support is out there and where?
We will run the same course on different dates. Let us know which you want to join.
The first course will run on Wednesday 5 September - 10 October, 9.30 - 11.30am.
The second will run on Wednesday 7 November - 12 December, 9.30 - 11.30am.
Venue will be confirmed nearer the time.
The course will be run and attended by Mette Theilmann from Parenting Success; Sarah Covell Early Bird and Autism Outreach worker and Anne George, SEN Family Support Worker for Slough Children’s Centres.
