In our capacity as a corporate appointee, we undertake all tasks and liaisons with the DWP on behalf of our vulnerable clients, which include:
- acting as the primary point of contact for money management matters, including creditor communications
- opening a managed bank account in the clients' name on our banking platform to receive and manage welfare benefits
- paying everyday care and household bills
- send money to carers via our popular carers card system and ensure our clients have a personal allowance for their daily spending needs
- helping to plan holidays and trips away and paying for them in addition to everyday sundry household items
- ensuring our clients receive all of the welfare benefits to which they are entitled
- providing reporting information and documents to the DWP as a corporate appointee
- informing local authorities, housing benefit teams and the DWP of relevant changes in our client's circumstances.
