Magnolia is a delightful, very modern bungalow, located in Wexham (South Bucks), with ample communal areas, tall windows and natural light.  The home comprises a spacious and modern living space, offering accommodation for 6 service users with four bedrooms in the main house, and two in the Annex to the rear of the property.  Residents will have their own personalised rooms, and will live with others who they will know, or get to know, well.

It is situated in a residential area, and blends in with other properties as part of the neighbourhood. This is in line with the community care philosophy that emphasises the principle of normalisation for people with Learning Disabilities. There is a sheltered garden, with a large decking area that is accessible for wheelchair users, and an ideal space for summer barbecues and events.  Magnolia is located in Wexham (South Bucks) an area we are very familiar with. The house is within easy walking distance of Slough Town Centre, which has many local amenities, education centres, colleges and leisure facilities, with Wexham Park Hospital a short distance away.

The home is suitable for people with complex needs, and various studies have shown evidence that a suitable environment is necessary for the provision of a good quality of care, which Magnolia can definitely provide. Day activities are offered as part of the care and rehabilitation based on person centred planning.  Service users are encouraged to fulfil their personal potential at their own pace, they are encouraged to participate in their daily independent living skills and leisure and educational activities.
