Building for the Future - play centre, activity group for children with SEND
Building for the Future is a Wokingham based, parent led charity providing:
- activities
- support and therapy
for children with disabilities and/or additional needs and their families.
The charity offeris stay and play sessions, where families can meet and all children are celebrated at Our House.
Our House is a unique accessible play centre with a range of facilities, including:
- soft play
- a sensory room
- teen chill-out zone
- PCs and gaming
- free play area
- kitchen
- small garden.
At Our House, disabled children can relax, have fun and be truly valued and accepted for who they are.
Parents and carers can:
- get support from one another
- share their experiences
- find valuable information about raising their disabled child.
Siblings can make friends with other children in similar situations.
The charity also runs a range of events and activities throughout the year. Check Building for the Future website for dates and details.
The centre is also available to hire for private parties and groups for children with disabilities or additional needs.
