Berkshire Family Mediation

Mediation is a safe, neutral place for people to work out their future practical arrangements, after separation, for:

  • children
  • property
  • finances.

The focus of mediation is on how to move forward. When communication feels strained or has broken down, experienced and professional mediators will make sure that everyone is listened to and understood.

Our aim is to get you through processes of divorce, separation and co-parenting, while keeping costs and distress to a minimum. You get the opportunity to explore what would work best for you and/or your children.

Using mediation does not affect your legal rights.

We offer mediation on disputes over:

  • arrangements for children, including contact arrangements, holidays and special days, childcare costs, parental communications, contact with wider family and schooling
  • property and finance, on separation or as part of a divorce process. We can mediate on decisions about the family home, other assets, maintenance payments, pensions and debts.

Our specially trained mediators also offer direct consultation with children.

We offer:

  • a simple and transparent fee structure for privately funded clients.
  • free mediation for clients who are eligible for legal aid.
