The Autism Group special interest clubs
We run a range of Saturday activity clubs, in central Maidenhead, for ages 9 to 30.
Sessions are built around topics that young people tell us they enjoy.
You can find clubs offering:
- arts and crafts
- console gaming
- table top roleplaying games
- Pokemon, Lego.
Our staff and volunteers are experienced and DBS checked.
All clubs are subject to a registration process and some may at times have a waiting list.

The premises is accessed via stairs.
All staff and volunteers are trained and have experience of working with autistic young people.
- What are the eligibility criteria for your service?
Must have a diagnosis of autism, or be on the pathway. Intended for young people of mainstream ability.
- How are referrals/applications made to your service?
Self referral. Interested applicants can complete an application form.
- What is your service standard for responding to referrals/accessing services?
Emails are usually answered within 3 days.
Time taken to access activity will depend on availability of space and appropriate support.

We have:
- a safeguarding policy.
- regular safeguarding training for new and existing staff and volunteers.
All workers need a current DBS check. Our risk assessments are kept under regular review.
