Meet and Mingle

Meet & Mingle is a voluntary, non-profit charity organisation, founded by Aksa Marshal in January 2013. It was established to help women in slough who feel lonely, isolated, depressed or stressed. The group helps to empower these women and support them through difficult stages of life and encourage them for wholesome living whilst building lifelong friendships and having fun.  

Meet & Mingle has been nominated for Queens Award in 2017 and right from its beginning it has won many more awards which has contributed in its enormous success. Currently the group is holding over 350 members and organising many events, functions, workshops, projects plus building other branches and support groups too such as MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT group, A.S.A(achieving strong aims) Group,  aimed to support YOUNG ADULTS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES, Working Women Group and CARERS group.  

Meet & Mingle has branched out and currently has 6 sites based in and around Slough. The programme of activities is available in the 'Downloads' section.

This is the first ever Cancer Support Group in Slough and the whole of Berkshire.
