Samantha Rosemary Rutherford - Childminder

Samantha is a devoted married mother of two children aged 8 and 6, and has been childminding for the past 4 years. They live on the Wexham Court Estate and share their home with their pet dog and cat. Their home provides hours of fun both indoors and outdoors. Inside there is a vast array of toys available and suitable for all age ranges and we regulary enjoy messy activities such as painting, play dough, gluing, junk modelling, and baking. Samantha's large garden is well equipped with a trampoline, slide, swing, sand pit, goal post and their new, currently most loved, two storey playhouse. They regulary go on outings to parks, farms and local playgroups with other friends and childminders, giving the children an opportunity to socialise with other children. Samantha prides herself on the love and positive encouragement she has given to her own children and chidren left in her care, that has helped them to develop into confident, caring, sociable and (mostly) well behaved children. She has achieved this through offering consistent encouragement and praise while keeping to develop routines and set boundaries. Whilst in her care you can expect that your child will be encouraged to develop in all areas of learning set out by the governmant in the Early Years Foundation Stage (0-5 year olds) through play and daily creative activities. As the parent you are the expert regarding your child, with this in mind she will work closely with you to ensure that your child is receiving the most positive experience they can whilst in her care. Samantha will do this by regulary discussing your childs development with you and any change in requirements that they may have.
