Call the Respect Phoneline 0808 802 4040 to get help to stop.

The Respect Phoneline is a confidential helpline, email and webchat service for perpetrators of domestic violence who need help to stop.

We help male and female perpetrators, in heterosexual or same-sex relationships.

Partners or ex-partners of perpetrators, as well as concerned friends and family members and Frontline Workers are also welcome to contact us for information, advice and support.

Webchat available Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am-4pm.

  • Phoneline support - Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm. Free from landlines and mobile phones within the UK. Your call will not appear on itemised bills. You can also call free from BT pay phones.
  • Email support - Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
  • Webchat support - Thursday 2-4pm.
