  • are community-based - £75 or £45 per month
  • reside in care or nursing homes - £45 per month.

Other notes

In our capacity as a corporate appointee, we undertake all tasks and liaisons with the DWP on behalf of our vulnerable clients, which include:

  • acting as the primary point of contact for money management matters, including creditor communications
  • opening a managed bank account in the clients' name on our banking platform to receive and manage welfare benefits
  • paying everyday care and household bills
  • send money to carers via our popular carers card system and ensure our clients have a personal allowance for their daily spending needs
  • helping to plan holidays and trips away and paying for them in addition to everyday sundry household items
  • ensuring our clients receive all of the welfare benefits to which they are entitled
  • providing reporting information and documents to the DWP as a corporate appointee
  • informing local authorities, housing benefit teams and the DWP of relevant changes in our client's circumstances.
