Mighty Acorns Day Nursery

We are a day nursery located behind Willow and Iqra Schools along Wexham Road in Slough.

We are open 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year.

For a very limited number of children, we are currently open until 4.30pm on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Within those hours we will try to accommodate the exact hours you require and will charge you accordingly for those hours.

We currently offer 2 year funded places for children from eligible families who meet the income related criteria. From the 1 April 2024, we will also be offering 2 year funded places for children with both parents working who meet the new criteria.

We offer the:

  • universal 15 hours funding to all 3 and 4 year olds
  • extended 30 hours funding to children of working parents who are eligible.

All our funded hours can be taken during term time only or 'stretched' to cover the holidays too.

We are registered with Ofsted and can admit children from the age of 3 months to 4+ years.

We follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage to support the learning, development and care of the children.
