Camp Mohawk (SEND family centre) - short breaks
Camp Mohawk is a rural day centre offering supported family sessions.
Facilities currently available:
- adventure playgrounds
- swings
- sensory garden
- play village
- outdoor games area
- soft play
- sensory rooms
- music, art and play lounges
- various other play areas within a large, secure site
- fully accessible bathrooms and toilets (incl. hoist)
- outdoor, heated pool (May - September only)
- wheelchair accessible.
Family days are an opportunity for children, accompanied by parents/carers, to access our facilities.
Staff provide assistance and support.
Suitable for children from 0–25 years. Siblings are welcome.
Booking essential for all days/sessions. Priority booking system in place to target families most in need of support.
Registration open to any family with a child/children with special needs, or children who are young carers.

Any family who has a child with additional needs is welcome to register with Camp Mohawk to use it's services.
As well as supported family sessions, we offer limited short breaks for children and young people:
- aged 8 to 25 years and
- who have high functioning autism.
