Free Weekly Meditation Classes in Slough

Learn how to meditate at our weekly classes and courses - always free of charge. Simply turn up, and make yourself comfortable. There is no need to make a booking in advance. Each session includes the basics, and a practical guided meditation. There are no strenuous exercises; participants are seated comfortably throughout. The meetings are conducted in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You will learn enough to be able to start meditating at home from your first class onwards. Many locals attend these meetings regularly, for a weekly boost of energy, and inner cleansing.

Sahaja Yoga meditation is natural and easy, and no special equipment is required. It is an effective, proven method to achieve stress-relief, and balance. Even early on, a person practising Sahaja Yoga can experience a state of ‘mental silence’, where the mind is completely at rest, together with heightened awareness, and inner peace. 

All ages are welcome to attend (children should be accompanied by a responsible adult).

The Slough Quaker Meeting House
74 Ragstone Road

The Quaker Meeting Hall in Slough is situated near the town centre, just off Windsor Road, on the corner where there is a McDonald's. For free parking, please drive in through the gates on the left of the hall (the gates are shared with the Slough Masonic Centre).

The rear door and the front door will be unlocked. The venue is approximately 10-minutes walking distance from Slough train station.

The meetings are always free of charge (both the beginner’s meeting, and the monthly ‘Going Deeper’ meetings). You are welcome to attend as many times as you like.


Other notes

Meditation is for everyone - give it a try. Even if you have never tried meditation before, you can easily practice Sahaja Yoga meditation. It is natural, simple, and easy. Everybody deserves the beneficial effects of meditation.
