NSPCC dedicated helplines
NSPCC provides the following dedicated helplines to offer advice to anyone who is concerned a child is at risk.
For advice, information, and support on:
- Female Genital Mutiliation (FGM) - call 0800 028 3550
- gangs and radicalisation - call 0808 800 5000. If you think a child is in immediate danger, please call the police on 999 straight away.
- abuse at school - call 0800 136 663.
If you are a secondary school educator and need advice and guidance on:
- teaching sex and relationships education
- how to respond to safeguarding concerns
- how to answer questions or concerns from students or parents
call 0800 389 5347.
The Whistleblowing Advice Line offers free advice and support to professionals with concerns about how child protection issues are being handled in their own or another organisation. Call 0800 028 0285.
