Families where a child has a brain condition face challenges every day. Just to learn, play, make friends, enjoy and experience the world can feel difficult, even impossible. Cerebra use ‘brain condition’ to describe any disorder or disability that affects the brain, including those caused by illness, genetics or traumatic injury. Brain conditions include (but are not limited to) autism, ADHD, Down’s syndrome, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and developmental delay. Cerebra help children aged 16 or under.
Cerebra Innovation Centre offer bespoke product design service for families. Although some equipment is available to buy, it often doesn’t look very nice or suit the requirements of some children. Cerebra develop logical, innovative and, above all, fun solutions. Their designs aim to reduce some of the social stigma attached to disabilities by making not only functional but also beautiful products for our amazing young people.
Cerebra Sleep Service - Cerebra have a team of sleep practitioners who can give advice and guidance on refusing to go to bed, difficulty going to sleep, not wanting to sleep alone, waking up during the night, waking up early and lots more. They offer advice over the phone on your child’s specific sleep problem, organise sleep workshops and provide sleep information resources.
Cerebra's sleep tips booklet with full of advice to help the whole family sleep is available in the downloads section.
