For ages 13 - 19 in Slough

Spectrum is Slough’s LGBT+ youth group, open to young people 13-19 (up to 25 with a special educational need or disability) who live in Slough or attend a secondary school in Slough. The group meet’s twice a month on Wednesday’s and focusses on 2 aspects:

  1. 1.      The Youth Voice group spends time on campaigning, youth proofing policies, organising events and working with the Youth Parliament.
  2. 2.      The Peer support & PSHE group includes themed workshops and a safe space to meet and support other LGBT+ young people in Slough.

EVENTS & TRIPS

Spectrum runs an event in Slough for LGBT History Month every year. There are also other opportunities to get involved with events run by the Slough Youth Parliament and the Youth Voice group, these have included team building away days,  yoga & meditation course, London Pride with Stonewall’s youth group, conferences , theatre, Houses of Parliament and also visited LGBT+ youth groups out of the area.
