Level Water: Discounted 1:1 Swimming Lessons for children with disabilities

Local Offer

Level Water is offering subsidised specialist 1:1 swimming lessons to children with disabilities. We fund lessons for children:

  • Aged 4 to 11
  • With a physical, hearing or visual disability
  • Who cannot swim ten metres

Unfortunately we are not able to support children with a significant behavioural, social or learning difficulty

Why swimming?
Swimming is a great sport for children, but it can be ineffective or unsafe for some with disabilities to learn in mainstream groups. Level Water provides one-to-one lessons until they are ready to join a mainstream class or competitive club.

How does it work?
We work in partnership with Everyone Active at The Centre in Slough.  We provide their teachers with specialist disability training. They deliver your lessons and we provide funding so that together, we can offer 1:1 lessons to you for under £8.
