#In the Know - online safety courses
Browns Community Services offer two programmes on staying safe online, one for children and the other for parents and carers.
The #In the Know course upskills both children and their parents around children’s use of the internet including:
- appropriate usage of social media
- access to age-inappropriate content (websites and apps)
- bullying/cyberbullying
- risks around personal information falling into the wrong hands.
Professionals can also refer families to the programmes.
