Safe Home Assessments - From PPP Taking Care
Falls are a major cause of hospital admissions in the elderly. With a Safe Home Assessment, PPP Taking Care will assess you or your loved one's home for trip hazards, identify any risks, recommend home adaptions and care services that may be required to help you remain independent and safe.
A trained assessor will check you are managing at home and ask whether you have any concerns. The assessor will review what support you currently have in place and recommend home adaptions and new services that may make your life easier.
There is no obligation to act on any of the recommendations and a safe home assessment can normally be arranged within days.
Recommendations may include adaptations to the home, such as grab rails or improved lighting, or telecare equipment such as fall sensors, personal alarms for the elderly, GPS personal alarms and dementia tracker alarms.
