The Virtual School service supports:
- children and young people looked after (CLA)
- children and young people who have left care
to achieve their full potential at their real schools.
The service also provides advice and training to:
- parents and foster carers
- professionals working with the children.
If young people are at risk of becoming NEET, the Post-16 team within the service provides support to find:
- education
- employment or training.
