Slough Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)
Slough CVS is a charity that exists to improve the quality of life of people in Slough and make a positive difference in our community. Slough CVS is an established Charity that has been running for over 80 years. We strive to improve the lives of the people of Slough and the surrounding areas.
Slough CVS offers a range of information and advice to help with every aspect of running a voluntary organisation. These include signposting and advocacy.
We provide a comprehensive quality assurance program called SQP which is designed to equip small groups with the necessary tools to ensure they have the correct policies, procedures and quality systems in place.
We run a wide range of networking events in and around the region to bring stakeholders together and facilitate debate.
In Slough, our projects comprise of providing a service to the voluntary sector and volunteers and Wellbeing Prescribing Service (for residents). In Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead, we run the WAM Get Involved service.
