The Beehive Foundation - short breaks

Local Offer

Beehive provides support, advice and information on services for Slough families and carers of children and young people with additional needs.

The service offers:

  • respite care for children with additional needs
  • emergency child protection care
  • short break activities during the school holidays for children with additional needs
  • support services to adults that require additional support to access the local community, such as accessing the gym, library, training courses and the local community leisure facilities
  • bespoke care packages
  • A variety of weekly activities, for example our popular fortnightly youth club for SEN children and their siblings.

For more information email sandrapbeehive@gmail.com.

Clare our main outreach worker is happy to meet you, in a setting you feel comfortable with.

All our support is carried out with the upmost respect. Clare is a mother of two children with additional needs, and knows from first hand experience how difficult it is to navigate the system.

Our aim is to ensure that parents/carers are aware of what is available to them. If, we feel we can not provide exactly the support you need, we are fortunate to work closely with a wide range of other supportive organisations.

Support is also available via zoom, email, over the telephone, Messenger, WhatsApp or text, whichever is most convenient.
