The National Autistic Society (NAS) is the UK’s leading charity for autistic people and their families. 

NAS provides:

  • advice and guidance about autism. Topics include what is autism, diagnosis, communication, mental health, education
  • support and advice programmes for parents and carers of autistic children and young people
  • the Autism Services Directory 
  • online groups to get to know fellow autistic people, make new friends and try a new hobby.

Professionals can find training courses on autism.
