'Room to talk' service - Mediation Bucks

Our ‘Room to Talk’ Mediation Service is specially tailored to help resolve Family / Young Person disputes where there have been family arguments involving a young person who may be thinking of leaving home, or who has already left on bad terms.

Mediation can help all the family members by giving them room to talk and to listen to each other in a positive environment, as distinct from a negative environment which often characterises relationships which have broken down. Our experienced and specially trained mediators meet with the young person and hear his or her concerns, the mediators then meet with the other family members so that all those concerned can have their say. If everyone then agrees, the mediators arrange to bring everyone together to work out sustainable plans for the future.
