check the Delta Hotels Marriott supported internship programme which offers practical experience working in the hospitality industry.

It is based at Heathrow Windsor Marriott Hotel in Slough and starts in September 2024.

No educational qualification is necessary. The aim is to gain employment after the course.

Placements are available in the following areas.

  • Food & Beverage.
  • Restaurant room service.
  • Executive lounge.
  • Conference & Banqueting.
  • Front Office.
  • Fitness Centre.
  • Engineering.
  • Kitchen.
  • Chef.
  • Stewarding.
  • Goods receiving.
  • Canteen.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Room attendant.
  • Porter.
  • Public area cleaner.

The supported internship offers you an opportunity to:

  • participate in a variety of rotations in a high-status local business
  • gain job skills
  • increase independence, confidence, self-esteem and gain a new potential friendship group
  • receive work-based instruction, support and feedback from the instructor, job coach and business managers
  • receive to high level coaching and mentoring skills.

The programme is based on Project SEARCH requirements designed for young people with learning difficulties to gain meaningful employment.
