Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children
Disability Living Allowance is a regular payment to help with the extra costs of looking after your child who:
- is under 16
- has difficulties walking or needs much more looking after than a child of the same age who does not have a disability.
You could get between £26.90 and £172.75 a week, depending on your child’s needs.
