Preparing for adulthood - adult social care & how to access

Adult Social Care provide services for:

  • adults (18 years and over) and
  • who live within the borough of Slough and
  • who are dependent on others for care and/or support because of their age, a disability or ongoing health problems.

The service offers a range of information, advice and support to help them :

  • be as independent as they can be
  • stay living in their own home for as long as possible
  • stay involved in social activities 
  • live the life the way they want.

The service also supports carers who look after a dependent adult.
