Discounts (young people - SEND)
There are various local and national schemes and charities which can help save money if you have an additional or special need.
- The concessionary bus pass entitles holders to travel free of charge on off-peak local bus services anywhere in England. Check eligibility and apply online for the bus pass on Slough Borough Council website.
- Merlin's Magic Wand offer Magical days out, Magic on tour and Merlin’s magic spaces to children and young people who meet Merlin's Magic Wand eligibility criteria.
- CEA Card is a national card providing concessionary cinema tickets for carers accompanying you to cinemas across UK. The card is valid for one year and costs £6.00. Apply online for the CEA card or download the application form.
- The National Trust issues a companions free entry card called "Access for all admit one card" for carers. It is issued to you so that you can use it for different carers. To obtain the card, email your name and address to enquiries@nationaltrust.org.uk or telephone: 01793 817634. Entry for you is at standard cost or free with membership.
- English Heritage has over 400 properties including abbeys, castles and stately homes. It provides free entry to your carer or companion to English Heritage sites.
- Slough Carer’s Card offers discounts to your carer.
