KIDS - Programmes for disabled children and young people
We support over 15,000 disabled children, young people and their families every year by delivering over 120 services throughout England.
KIDS is unique; there is no other organisation dedicated to providing such an extensive range of services to disabled children and young people, aged 0-25 years, irrespective of their impairment or condition.
KIDS services include
- Information, Advice & Family Support including Mediation, Young Carers, SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service), overnight short breaks, parent & family support, domicilary care, children's rights and advocacy, seeking legal advice.
- Play and Social - short breaks, adventure playgrounds, play schemes, holiday accommodation, after school clubs.
- Learning & Development - relationships and sexuality groups, transtitions to adulthood, home learning, early years support.
