Romsey Close Children’s Centre offers full and part time early education for children under the age of 5. We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.   

If you would like to visit us, you will find us at the back of the Marish Primary School, accessed via Romsey Close, off Ives Road. Check accessibility information for Romsey Close Children's Centre on AccessAble.

There is limited on street parking in Romsey Close but please avoid school drop-off and pick-up times. Alternatively, contact us on romseyclose.childrenscentre@slough.gov.uk or 01753 540797.

Romsey Children’s Centre is proud to serve families of many religions, cultures and ethnic backgrounds. 

  • Support and advice - meeting the needs of your child and the other demands of family life can sometimes feel stressful and demanding. At Romsey Close Children’s Centre we offer support to pregnant mums and parents of newborn babies through to when your child starts school. 
  • Learning Together - we have a creative team of family services practitioners who are experienced in helping  parents to interact with their children and to facilitate learning. As well as delivering a programme of stimulating activities for you and your child to attend, they also provide courses just for parents.
  • Home and finances - our family services officers offer advice and information about a range of issues including debt, relationship breakdown, mental and physical health, housing and employment. They can put you in touch with a range of other services, apply for grants if you are in a crisis and offer practical help and support.

At Romsey Close Children's Centre we know having a child under 5 is a wonderful experience, but it can be a time when you have more questions than answers.

  • Education and employment - we work in partnership with a range of organisations in order to provide a wide variety of courses to help you into employment or further training and education. 
  • Parenting and relationships - we offer family nurturing programmes to improve parenting skills and to strengthen family cohesion.
